Stella & Roy

This is the story of two siblings Stella and Roy who go camping with their mother to a deserted pine lake. During their journey to the lake, between the tracks, Roy the younger one spots animal footprint. He shows them to the other two and they stop there to examine those footprints. Can you imagine what did the little girl do to know which animals footprints were they?

She opened her book with animal footprints and found the footprints that match and then told what animal it is. This clearly shows there are some kids who implement their knowledge from books in real life. They have reached there and now its bedtime, they put all their things into a bear barrel so that no animal can touch their belongings.

Stella and her mother go to sleep but Roy stays up and listens to all the sounds around him. He hears a noise from the bear barrel so he immediately unzips the tent and peeps out and he sees a big brown bear right outside the tent. In the morning Stella wakes up and sees some footprints around the near barrel. Its a bear says, Roy.

This is definitely a must-read for every kid. At the back of the book, it has more information about different animal footprints in the forest.
