It’s Christmas time and how can we have the holiday fun without some good reads. We read many special Christmas adventure book this winter but for our Christmas fest, we would like to start with one of our all-time favorite classics – How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss!
Dr. Seuss’s small-hearted Grinch ranks right up there with Scrooge when it comes to the crankiest, scowling holiday grumps of all time. The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! No one knows the reasons but his strong hatred for Christmas was known to all.
Out of hatred, Grinch decided to steal everything associated with Christmas from Who-ville. What an awful idea, isn’t it? But he went ahead with his plan to steal decorations, Christmas tree, food, gifts, and everything that were arranged for the celebration. But was he successful in dampening the cheerful spirit of the folks in Who-ville? Read this special Christmas adventure book to know more.
How can anyone not like Grinch? We have watched this story as a movie too but this is one of the books where we love the book more than the movie.
It’s humorous, interesting, and super-duper entertaining. No wonder this book has been a favorite December read for generations now.
In a very beautiful way, it communicates the importance of togetherness and bonding, the spirit of celebrations. It tells us we don’t need many things to celebrate as long as we have our loved ones together. Fun & cheer can come in many ways, not necessarily only through gifts and jazz.
Targeted towards children below 9 years, this special Christmas adventure book one is a must-have in your Dr. Seuss collection. This book would also make a wonderful gift for Christmas.
