This is my favorite book I will not share this with anyone. We see children telling this because some kids are very attached to their favorite books. They will not be willing to share them with anyone else. Sometimes not even with their siblings and best friends. Through this lovely story let the kids know that books are meant for sharing.

“Red Knit Cap Girl and the Reading Tree”, is the story of a little girl with a red knit cap. The red knit cap girl is friends with lots of forest animals. One day one of her friends, a squirrel is excited to show her something. It’s a nook in a tree. What can she do with a nook?
She decides to store her book in it so that others can also read it. Very soon it is filled with more books and turned up into a library. Later other animals also started storing some unique gifts and slowly the tree is turned up into a spot to enjoy for everyone.
What are libraries for? Red Knit Cap Girl and the Reading Tree is a great way to make children love sharing, know about libraries, being an active member of any community they are in and helping others.
Stoop’s beautiful, bold illustrations and simple narration should be given a thumbs up for sure. A perfect story to teach kids about animal traits, friendship, and a moral that books are for sharing too. Kids who love cute pictures and animals will enjoy this book completely. Read this cute book to know about what did the animals store and what happened at the end? Did someone really use the things stored in the nook?
